MabelBLAKENEYOn 18th January 2023, passed peacefully in Calderdale Royal Hospital with her family by her side. Mabel aged 83 years of Netherton, Huddersfield was the widow of the late Dennis Blakeney, much loved mum of Dean and Jill, mother in law of Karen, and a proud and devoted Grandma of Thomas, Alex and Oliver. She was a dear sister of Mary, and the late John and Jessie, and also a very good friend to many. A Church Service will be held at South Crosland Church at 2.00p.m. Monday 20th February, followed by a committal at Huddersfield Crematorium at 3.15pm. on the same day. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished are to be sent to the British Heart Foundation. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Church.
